LLMs can produce logic and operate in digital space better than I can. As a result, the remaining components of my job are extremely stark: social intelligence and decision making.

This website acts as an unfiltered view into the process of making good decisions in order to solve the social intelligence gap. I have ample runway and a brilliant team at my company, Precursor Labs, where I am cofounder and CTO. The title, “World Models”, references the phenomenon of an agent (me) in an environment (the world) continuously updating its priors about how the world works (model) to best take actions to maximize terminal reward. This involves curiosity, research, critical thinking, writing publicly, and shipping experiments to sample the environment, among other things.

Home is a good place to start as a general ranking of my attention.

‘handsdiff’ is a video game reference where one player beats another player due to the difference in ‘hands’ skills, which is generally reaction time, rather than some advantage in strategy or tactics.
